Rationals, are ABSTRACT in communicating and UTILITARIAN in implementing goals, and can become highly skilled in STRATEGIC ANALYSIS. BURN DOWN ALL YOUR IDOLS, DESTROY YOUR IDOLS… (create a scene) There goes all your reason, it’s helter-skelter, it’s not a dream. Thus their most practiced and developed intelligent operations tend to be marshaling and planning (NTJ organizing), or inventing and configuring (NTP engineering). And they would if they could be wizards in one of these forms of rational operation. [come down from the altar, remove your blindfold, what do you see?] !NOTHING! left to do here, there’s nothing new here, it’s all the same. You’re going down down down, how low can you go? They are proud of themselves in the degree they are competent in action, respect themselves in the degree they are autonomous, and feel confident of themselves in the degree they are strong-willed. Ever in search of knowledge, this is the “Knowledge Seeking Personality” – trusting in reason and hungering for achievement. They are usually pragmatic about the present, skeptical about the future, solipsistic about the past, and their preferred time and space are the interval and the intersection. Educationally they go for the sciences, avocationally for technology, and vocationally for systems work. Rationals tend to be individualizing as parents, mindmates as spouses, and learning-oriented as children. Rationals are very infrequent, comprising as few as five percent and no more than seven percent of the population. HAVE A hari krishna was that your sister, a covergirl? Wasted primadonna, she lost her way here, she disappeared. All Rationals (NTs) share the following core characteristics: Rationals tend to be pragmatic, skeptical, self-contained, and focused on problem-solving and systems analysis. Rationals like to see themselves as ingenious, independent, and strong-willed. Rationals make logical mates, individualizing parents, and strategic leaders. Rationals are even-tempered, they trust reason, yearn for achievement, seek knowledge, prize technology, and dream of understanding how the universe works. Come back to your altar and build a fire, it’s getting cold. NOTHING stops the rain here, there’s not a soul here, you’re all alone.
All Rationals are good at planning operations, but Masterminds are head and shoulders above all the rest in contingency planning. Complex operations involve many steps or stages, one following another in a necessary progression, and Masterminds are naturally able to grasp how each one leads to the next, and to prepare alternatives for difficulties that are likely to arise any step of the way. Trying to anticipate every contingency, Masterminds never set off their current project without a Plan A firmly in mind, but they are always prepared to switch to Plan B or C or D if need be. You’re going down down down, how low can you go?here we go now… Masterminds are rare, comprising no more than, say, one percent of the population, and they are rarely encountered outside their office, factory, school, or laboratory. Although they highly capable leaders, Masterminds are not all eager to take command, preferring to stay in the background until others demonstrate their inability to lead. Once they take charge, however, they are thoroughgoing pragmatists. KILL your new religion, NO inhibition, NO alibi. Televise confession and true obsession is on the rise. Masterminds are certain efficiency is indispensable in a well-run organization, and if they encounter inefficiency—any waste of human and material resources—they are quick to realign operations and reassigned personnel. Masterminds do not feel bound by established rules and procedures, and traditional authority does not impress them. Them, nor do slogans or catchwords. MISCOMMUNICATION, MISINFORMATION-- a perfect waste. Bite the sacred ichor, and suck the poison, enjoy the taste. Only ideas that make sense to them are adopted; those that don’t, aren’t, no matter who thought of them. [You’re going] Remember, their aim is always maximum efficiency. In their careers, Masterminds usually rise to positions of responsibility, for they work long and hard and are dedicated in their pursuit of goals, sparing neither their own time and efforts nor that of their colleagues and employees. Problem-solving is highly stimulating to Masterminds, who love responding to tangled systems that require careful sorting out. [down down down] Masterminds tend to be much more definite and self-confident (to the extent of being competent) than other Rationals, having usually developed a very strong will. Decisions come easily to them; in fact, they can hardly rest until they have things settled and decided. But before they decide anything, they must do the research. Masterminds are highly theoretical, but they insist on looking at all the available data before they embrace an idea, and they are suspicious of any statement that is based on shoddy research, or that is not checked against reality. …how low can you go?
